Arbella is a commercial real estate development and investment company focused on partnering with tenants and investing in growth communities. We are not “merchant” builders or "fee" developers. Instead, our aim is firmly sighted on long-term relationships and generational holdings for our own account. With an expertise covering the entire life cycle of real estate - from site selection, acquisition, and leasing, to financing, development, management, and sales - we locate undervalued properties, developing or repositioning them with an approach that strives to deliver projects that are welcoming to both customers and to the larger communities they serve.

Matt Burnett

Matt is the owner of Arbella Investments. He has spent the past 20 years in commercial real estate with substantial experience spanning leasing, acquisitions, sales, and development. Matt previously served as a Senior Vice President with CBRE, Inc. the world's largest real estate services company, working on the ground-up leasing and development of over 3 million square feet of shopping centers, and as an Executive Vice President with Hanley Investment Group advising private investors and developers in the acquisition and disposition of retail investment property across the U.S.

Matt earned bachelor’s degrees in history and legal studies from Claremont McKenna College. He is an avid outdoorsman, fly-fisherman, and reader. Most of all, he is a husband and father to three.
